What is High Shear Granulation?
High Shear Granulation Definition | High shear and wet granulation are commonly used for densification, to improve flowability, content uniformity or wettability or to improve dispensing qualities. Commonly used high granulation equipment includes; high shear granulators, fluid bed granulators, spray dry granulators, double cone and ribbon blenders, rotary processors, rotating disk processors and V-blenders. In the pharmaceutical industry high shear granulation equipment is increasingly being used with Real Time Release Testing or Process Analytical Testing capability.
